Important Changes to Olive Clock Use and Upgrade Process

We’ve made some changes to Olive Clock based on your feedback, and we want to make sure you’re informed and ready to transition smoothly.

Background

Previously, Olive Clock required users to log in with an email and password to access the app. To upgrade to the Pro edition, users completed a payment process, and the app automatically linked their Pro status to their email account.

While this system worked, many users told us they found it inconvenient to login to use the app. We heard you loud and clear.

What’s Changed

With the new system starting from Olive Clock v2.0.0, there is no login required. Instead, you’ll unlock the Pro edition features using a license key. The process is simple:

  • If you don’t have a license key, you can purchase one directly by clicking the Buy Now button on this website or by selecting Upgrade option in the app.
  • Once you have the license key, you’ll enter it in the app to enable Pro features.

This change simplifies access to the app while keeping all the features you love intact.

What You Need to Do

  1. If you already have Pro access:

    • We’ve sent an email to all existing Pro users with a link to get their license key for free. Please check your inbox for this email.
    • If you didn’t receive the email, please contact us at [email protected], and we’ll assist you with obtaining your license key.
  2. If you’re new to Pro:

    • In the app, go to Menu > Upgrade and click the “Upgrade” button to purchase a license key.
    • You can also click the Buy Now button on this website to get a license key.
    • After completing your purchase, your license key will be emailed to you.
  3. Once you have your license key:

    • Open the app, go to Menu > Upgrade, and select the “Enter License Key” option.
    • Enter your purchase email and license key, then click “Validate” to unlock Pro features.
